Open any of the four doors and gently peel down the weather stripping above the door opening. You will see two circular metallic inserts forged into the body steel. The Saab roof bars mount with two pins on each end which slip into these inserts. Everything is concealed and locking the doors locks the roof bars on to the car preventing theft.

After installing the bars you can attach a Thule or Yakima roof box to the bars for carrying cargo.
