Disconnect your battery. Remove the battery, and the battery base bracket.
You can remove the mouting screws for the fuse box and move the bow aside. The harness will let you do this.
Unplug the controller .....the is a connector on the bottom.
There are 6 torque screws along the sides of the ABS controller remove them. Carefully pull the controller off. You will see Solenoid parts. Cover the parts coming out of the front of the ABS unit with plastic. Maybe a small plastic bag and tape it in place to keep the solenoid parts clean.
Send to BBA-reman.
you can drive the car.....brakes work normally but without ABS. Of course you will have lots of lights on the instrument panel!
Not really a bad job.
