As AeroEd says.
It is a difference between 03 and older and 04-05 (06 and up is yet different).
On 03 and older, you pressed clear once to confirm the message and then pressed and held button for 15-20 seconds until Cleared and Serviced message had come and gone.
On the 04-05, you press and hold the clear button for 15-20 sec until Cleared and Serviced has come and gone and skip the initial push once to confirm message.
