I tend to leave from a stop light as if the car has 4 flat tires and molasses in the motor, 29.6 is the max I`m sure because waiting for a light to turn green I lose .1 mpg if the throttle is pinned off the light it loses an additional.2 mpg it takes around 15 to 20 miles to gain a .1 mpg with out stopping (at 65mph)
Suppose I should mention the car never gets over 70 mph being the miles run are on a U.S. hwy where its 55 to 65 mph roads. Good to know if the mpg sky-rockets the amm is going south.
As for the speedo meter, A gps was hooked up in the car and the speedo is exact to the gps mph, except when the gps is reading a steady 100mph the speedo is showing 99mph.
I been fighting a p1312 code for a good duration of time and the car was getting 27 with a.c. only stands to reason running with out a.c. and getting the p1312 fixed mpg would go up. but wow a 4 speed. If someone would of told me this before I bought the car it could produce such things I`d say your plum crazy.
Should add the fuel filter was changed, air filter, new plugs gaped at 29mm, vacuum leaks cured, with a bpv with a stronger spring. all or some
helped I`d guess.
