I have a 2003 9-5 Aero and I changed both Xenon bulbs under 15 minutes from start to finish. The only thing I removed for access was the battery cover. The passenger side is a bit tight but if you change the driver side first and know what to look for, the passenger side is no more difficult.
Maybe the newer 9-5's Xenon headlights are different ??
