Saab Parts Online Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Fri, 1 Feb 2013 03:30:33 In Reply to: Re: easy to do, Sharon, Thu, 31 Jan 2013 13:22:36 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I've used them for a few purchases. They are the on-line arm of the Parts Counter at a Saab Dealership in Winston-Salem, NC. All parts are authentic and for the parts I have bought from them the prices were lower than anyone else's.
The only downsides are: their website is not easy to use (you pretty much need to know the P/N for the part in question); and this on-line sales stuff is clearly foreign to them (i.e. you won't receive any order updates or shipping info, and parts arrive without notice much later than you would expect). I have had to send a friendly reminder to them a week or so after every order to receive the delivery details. Every time I've written I have been left with the impression my e-mail was read and followed by an "Oh crap! We need to send that out." exclamation at their end.
Authentic parts, often at the rock bottom price, but little to no customer feedback and slooow delivery. A good source for any insanely expensive part that you don't need right away.
