From your description, it sounds like you're looking for Saab PN 5512884 if your Mirror has the memory function (if you don't know, you can tell by the little mirror adjustment switch - if it has a little round button in between the rocker and the large round "joystick", then it has the memory setting - google part 5241229 to see what i'm talking about).

If you've exhausted the US resources, check out ANA Trollhattan (anatrollhattan dot com). These guys apparently have the largest independent parts depot for Saab, being their dealership was the largest Saab dealer in the world and located near the plant in Trollhattan.
