I converted my 2007 9-5 to dual reverse lights a year or so after I bought the car in 2007. I got the right-hand drive lens assy. from England.
The results were some improvement, but not great. The lens design is poor. I'm sure that there are other upgrades that would provide a huge improvement; I just never pursued it. If I was doing it again, knowing what I know now, I would not waste money on the second lens assy; just not a good return on investment.
I would look at a small spot light assy that would accept a strong halogen light.
