I have a 1999 SE 2.3L and 2002 Aero. I bought the Aero 2 months ago and it vibrated like crazy when I got it. Replaced the transmission mount and the torque arm, and now the vibration is only slightly more on the 2002 over the 1999. Since the transmission is different (4-speed vs. 5-speed) I can't be sure that the extra arm doesn't help, but my gut feel is that the extra arm is redundant and doen't contibute at all to vibration suppression.
