Buy the real deal SEM Sweden cassettes. I see about 1-3 a month come in with no start conditions or misfires. All are the Chinese junk units. "It cant be, I just replaced it last year" and "It has a lifetime warranty" I hear after telling the client its a defective IDM.

I also see 2-5 OEM units a month come in with CEL on for combustion circuit or camshaft sensors faults. However the OEM units give fair warning of impeding failure by setting the CEL, and are usually at least five years old.

Yet to see one Chinese unit throw a check engine light, they just die. Also, make sure your T-7 ECM software of up to date with the lastest version, if your not able to run the IDM fault function on the Tech 2 it needs to be updated using Saab Service Program System.
