Never mind, figured it out after part arrived. The nipple has two places to press on the top and bottom to release. It is tight back there under the intake manifold. I was able to use a long screwdriver and press the top button from above looking down in-between the center intakes on the manifold. I simultaneously pressed the bottom button with my finger and the plug released. Threading the new tube back down and around behind the engine was challenging but doable. This is probably a 30 minute job for a real mechanic but took me an hour. Didn't have to get under the car.
