If it is the MACKAY CH3881 it's the right one.
To make it easy for me, I remove the thermostat housing and upper hose and also replace those if they are in need be. That extra space is enough to make it a lot easier when getting my arms down there.
I also remove the brake booster pipe completely from brake booster so that I don't risk breaking it.
Next I disconnect the upper hose clamps and hoses. Then I take a brand new razor blade between my fingers and get all the way down and cut the heater hose as close to the heater pipe fitting as possible. After that I snake out the whole package and then it is much easier to release the lower hose clamps and split the remaining hose with the razor blade and peel it off the pipe.
Plenty of silicone grease on the in and outside of hoses makes it easier to slide them on and slide the hose clamp to right position.
I also remove that foam holding the hoses together since it plays no role whatsoever and start with the short/lower hose first and then the longer one.
