When you run the diag as roger suggests doe the air distribution change at all? can you select defrost, floor or center manually or does it just stay on the floor?
if you cannot change the distribution you need to check the air distribution arm and motor. they are on the passenger side. remove the glove box and pull back the carpeting on the side of the console. you will see a metal arm. the bottom end of the arm connects to the distribution drum, the top part of the arm connects to the motor.
1 - the arm can come loose from the motor. check that its connected on both ends
2 - if so, remove the motor. can you move the arm by hand? if so the drum is not jammed.turn on the ACC ... when you move the arm can you select ef/center/floor? if so th problem is the motor.
3 - a new stepper motor is pricey, but many of us have been able to rehab the motor. dmz789abc made this fix famous:
