Help with plastic repair on bumper

I'm planning on getting a gouge filled on the back bumper in the non-painted plastic section and I'm now wondering if I should have it done at all. It's noticeable but small enough that I could live with it. The dealer fills in the gouge and then they paint the entire plastic to blend in the repair. Has anyone ever had this done and how does it look?
Thanks
