2004 Arc wagon, 174K km 2.3T. Replaced the transmission dog bone last fall, it was an improvement but still not great. Yesterday I did the left and right upper mounts. I initially though I had wasted my money. The engine seemed to have sagged about 1/2 to 3/4 inch but the mounts were not as trashed as some that I have seen. But when I drove the car, it was much better in terms of engine noise and NVH. So for the $160 and 2 hrs it took I would say DO IT!!! (also cleaned the TB which seems to make no diff.)
