Took me about 4 hours mostly because I'm old and don't move all that quickly anymore and my buddies came over to offer suggestions and help me drink beer. Could do it in less time now because of the learning curve.
The tool to push the axle back through the hub is a great thing to have. It's useable on other cars than Saab too - ask me how I know! To loosen the inner coupling I just used a big old brass drift and a BFH (hammer) and it popped off with not much effort.
Nothing to pulling the tie rod end. Do it and save yourself the sweat of pulling and pushing.
Best of luck to you.
