He wouldn't have taken a wild guess. He mentioned something about a drip test? I know he disassembled a good bit, and has had it for a week now. He tried something for it prior (something he poured directly into the cylinders, let sit for a day or two, hand cranked the engine, then ran it for a bit.
He said the piston rings are just so hard and rigid, and caked with carbon deposits. He said Marvel mystery oil, sea foam, etc. are not going to help if his stuff didn't work. I'll try anything though short of spending hundreds.
