I had to replace my DIC after some stumbling and CEL appeared. Saab friend has Tech 2 unit and #1 cylinder had way more misfirings than others. When we pulled off the DIC there was clean oil in the spark plug well and the source was a crack in the underside of the DIC between two coils. Luckily, I had older original DIC which I saved and it seems to work fine. I really don't believe the DIC's can just be patched up to stop any more leaking oil from one coil or another. Likely there is irreparable overheating damage. My friend advised me to start shopping for a new DIC as the older one will go sooner or later. I believe he said the last version is 3.7? He says and others have said to beware of cheap Chinese units now proliferating.
