Case in point is MI-Roger's 300,000+ mile LPT one the same turbo. Probably not abused but definitely taken care of with good maintence.
If allot of higher speed highway driving the pcv system tends to suck up oil. If I keep to the speed limit I don't loose any oil. Higher driving speeds and the oil level drops. I don't have a cat and there is no smoke under acceleration with a •bay $30 rebuild kit ahs been going strong for 30,000 miles including allot of car towing.
