Surprising change in ride height Posted by Snowmobile [Email] (#686) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Snowmobile) on Sat, 14 Sep 2013 03:57:07 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I was doing some rust repair on the area in front of the rear fenders, so had the rear of the car jacked and the wheels off. Only thing I did to the suspension was check that nothing was loose or anything (I've been hearing some occasional rattles from back there, but it might just be some tools in the trunk). Everything seemed fine.
Got the rust repair done, wheels on, lowered the car... back end was an inch to an inch and a half higher than before! Took the car out and drove over some speed bumps etc for 5 minutes or so and it's back to normal.
I was surprised that this process would cause any suspension change (even short term)... not a single bolt was undone! thoughts?
