Timing belt should be every 60k. Along with ALL associated pulleys and tensioners. At 90k, he either did it 30k miles late (super-duper borrowed time) or 30k early. Make sure he did tensioner and pulleys.
Water pump, meh. Probably a good idea to do it pre-emptively at 120k when you're replacing the timing belt again.
