It is pretty tight in the cabin, very similar in width to a E46 BMW which it was targeting. The trunk is much smaller. They are pretty noisy and it is not a pleasant type of noise too. Also, RWD vs FWD difference.

G35 is easier to maintain, as the OEM is still around and there plenty of them on the road. SAAB, especially post-06 is trickier by a factor of 10, it needs more involvement and research.

If it were a complete match on condition, proven mileage and price (although for used I'd look for private alternatives to any dealer, they usually gauge in ~3K at least to cover "costs")... I would only consider G35 as an AWD. Otherwise - clear win for a 9-5 here.
