There is nothing magic about the Aero's rear brakes to distinguish it from the previous 9-5 you had (unless you had one of the really early versions with the smaller pads), so I would think swapping out the pads for some other brand would solve the problem. You could also try chamfering the pads you have and applying some sort of anti-squeal goo to the backs of the pads. Your rotors might have been glazed, but that seems unlikely. Having the rotors turned would bring up some fresh metal.
Rear pads that I have used have been Akebono ceramics and some cheap Centic ceramics, neither of which squealed as you descirbed.
