Last Tuesday afternoon I developed a hard-start issue. Engine cranks reaaallly slow. Since then it has been happening everytime I start the car, hot or cold. Car has not stalled, and otherwise runs fine. I checked the battery voltage and had 12+ volts engine off, and 14+ volts at idle; battery is 1-2 years old. I swapped with a brand new battery I got about a month ago with same results. The second battery was used to start a 9-5 that sat for a couple months and had a bad alternator, and I also had the store test it before I left the day I bought it.
Tonight I just swapped the positive battery cable and there was no change.
Starter was replaced about a month ago by my indy because it wouldn't immediately disengage from the flywheel after starting.
DIC is a genuine Saab unit, about 2 years old.
