Power steering fluid will burn, but its flammability is nowhere near that of gasoline. You might try putting some alluminum foil around the leak to divert the flow away from the catalytic converter to keep the smell down.
If you think about it, you've been driving it the way it is for a few weeks without bursting into flames, so you can most likely drive two hours to the shop without too much trouble.
