Use the same year car, swap the complete powertrain -- engine, trans, subframe and radiator stack. The wire harness plugs in above the heater valve. You can ditch the coolant pump in the heater circuit that is on the v6. Swap the front part of the exhaust and swap the ECU -- you will have to re-configure the car with some tech-II programming. I've done this to a few cars-- last one was done in about 6 hours. The v6 auto is the same, so save it. Toss the v6 crap.
