Car is an '06 9-5 with automatic transmission, Sport Package, 73K. New to me yesterday and was delivered by carrier truck. The key will not come out of the ignition. This is my third 9-5 and I have never seen this before. I have tried making sure the gear shift lever is all the way forward in P, tried moving the level back and forth many times. Have driven the car several times and no luck removing the key. I have tried moderately firm pressure pulling up the key while in the lock position and nothing. It is really locked into the ignition cylinder, it doesn't feel kinda stuck. It won' come out. Ideas???
Another question (I embarrassing ask)Does this car have one reverse light like a 9000 or does it have two? I have one light on the right side, looks like it is wired for two. Had to ask. Replaced bulb on left side and it does not light in Reverse.
Alright while I am asking...when the car is started cold it defaults to Sport Mode. Is this normal? I also cannot shift into Sport or out of Sport while the car is driving or at all for that matter. I seem to remember I could in my previous '03 and '04's. To deactivate Sport while on I need to stop and put the car in P. And when I move into D its off. Any thoughts please.
Appreciate it everyone.
