My preference is berber... Posted by B Millar [Email] (#1109) [Profile/Gallery] (more from B Millar) on Thu, 6 Feb 2014 11:18:01 In Reply to: best weather floor mats?, MC [Profile/Gallery] , Thu, 6 Feb 2014 10:50:00 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
State of Nine sells some nice custom berber floor mats. I work in the construction industry and am on muddy job sites somewhat frequently, so I want something in my car year-round that's a bit more utilitarian than OEM, but not some squeaky hard rubber all the time. These mats have a very thick, rigid pile of berber, and a thick rubber backing to them, with little carpet spikes so they don't slide around. No water is going to get through, and though I haven't needed to, they look like they'd hold up to being hose-cleaned, maybe even a light pressure washing. I had them in my 9-5 for four years and I just got a set for my 9-3.
