ICM question and experience

Hello,
My 2003 Aero with about 70K miles started triggering CEL over the weekend with P1312 code. I took out the ICM and saw that it was 3.7B version. Since P1312 meant misfire for cylinders 1 & 2, I first swapped the spark plugs 1 & 2 with 3 & 4 to test whether it’s the plug or the ICM, since P1334 was for cylinders 3 & 4 and no P1334 code was detected. After driving for a day, the same P1312 code was detected and I knew then that most likely it was the ICM.
I had a 3.6A spare which had accrued 65K miles on my previous 1999 9-5 so I decided to swap it with the 3.7B on my 2003 Aero. The next day, it triggered CEL and the codes P1312, P1334 and P0340 were detected.
So, I ended up replacing my ICMs on my 2003 Aero today with a brand new Wells version and NGK platinum plugs purchased from CarQuest. The ICM was 3.7D and seemed like an OEM.
My question is, for those who replaced the ICM with 3.7D version, how long did it last until it started triggering CEL? It seems like 3.7 versions will last between 60-70K miles.
The list below is based on my experience:
3.4D on my ’99 9-5 100K+ miles but no CEL and was still going strong
3.6A on my ’99 9-5 65K miles but CEL came on when I used it on my ’03 Aero
3.7B on my ’03 Aero 70K miles before CEL came on
3.7D on my ’03 Aero ???
Thanks for your input!
Eugene
