The pump assembly alone currently runs just shy of $1000 USD (pn 12757165). Figure about 2-2.5hrs of labor. Last I tried to get one, these pumps were on long term backorder with Saab Parts NA. The US market is the only one which got these style pumps from 06-09, so no overseas sourcing.

A few hints:
-If your fuel level sender is bad, the sending unit from a 9-3SS (pn 22672171) is a direct replacement. Saab has a TSB out for this.

-The 9-3 SS 2.0L fuel pump assembly (pn 12805467) WILL fit. I installed one in a clients 2007 9-5 Aero Wagon two years ago. There is only one difference with the pump assembly, the large evap hose. The 9-3 has a much longer horseshoe shaped hose while the 9-5 is short and comes directly from the pump head to the side of the tank. I simply laid the longer 9-3 vent hose out on the tank similar to 9-3 installation and taped it down in place on the tank. When refitting the tank, just be sure not to crush the hose between the tank and floorboards. The customer has 25,000+ since, operating just fine. Also, you can get an OE Walbro pump assembly for only about $250...
