Leaking oil pans are just about non existent unless someone has already removed it and botched the anaerobic sealant application on re installation.
I would more guess that you have a slight leak from the cylinder head gasket dribbling down the side of timing cover. Do you see any wet area on the engine and above crank pulley?
But since you also say you have a oil smell in the cabin when standing still, that usually takes quite a bit of leak onto a hot surface or it could be that you have a broken PCV hose somewhere in the system that is feeding oil fumes into the fresh air intake.
