I usually try to drive it a few days after working on that to let it settle before going in for an alignment. It always seems to be too high after until it gets driven. This is apparently normal. That said, your indy must have done an alignment, and maybe they would drive it a bit first? Alignment is ride height dependent.
I think Aero + non are different as are some different years. But I dunno - I put konis on ours, so there may be differences from OEM. Did you check the part number on the shock? maybe you can still see it (if you take the wheel off?) and that might avoid doing any real disassembly to track down the cause...
in summary, measure ride height, drive car (over speed bumps and pot holes) for a couple days, remeasure, compare with spec. Maybe your fronts are low too? mine were. how many miles on those?
