This isn't rocket science - your dealer is simply not trying..... 5 to 10 quarts between oil changes is a hell of an oil consumption rate. I hope you aren't pouring in Mobil 1! My '01 Aero uses zero oil in 5000 miles, as does my wife's Audi A4. If the oil isn't coming out the engine onto your garage floor, it _has_ to be coming out the tailpipe. Probably a bad turbo seal - does it smoke when you first start it in the morning? This is not uncommon in these cars.
Any decent shop should be able to isolate the cause. Have them inspect the turbo for oil leakage past the shaft seal. They have to remove the inlet duct and exhaust outlet to do this. If the turbo is ok, I suggest you ask for a "compression leak-down test". The mechanic will install an air fitting in each spark plug hole in turn and pressurize the cylinder with compressed air. He can monitor the test gage to check for excessive leakage past the piston rings, which will cause high oil consumption.
Hopefully it is the turbo, not the rings. Bad rings would involve a complete rebuild - a bad turbo requires either sending yours out for repair or installing a new one ;(
Good luck, and let us know the outcome.
