In your first post you said headlight switch but do you mean you replaced the ignition switch as well?
The ignition switch is mounted under the key tumbler and it is quite a bit of stuff to remove to get to it.
Like Jimmy says, it sound like the +X supply from ignition switch has died.
You can test that theory by removing the headlight switch and check for power at pin 16 (X) Brown /Yellow wire. You can also add external power to that pin and see if the lights comes on.
