I have a 2006 9-5 and a 2008 9-5, both Aero 5sp spec. The 2008 has the TPM system. If the monitor goes bad at $150 to fix, can I just pull a fuse on that system and forget it? I got this far checking the air in my tires without a problem, I don't need the feature.
While I'm at it, the 2008 has the Navigation package and I dislike the touch screen for the radio controls, makes you take your eyes off the road and the blue green graphics are hard to see, reminds me of the 1980 era IBM monochrome monitors. Can a regular radio package be swapped in? Is there an upgrade?
Obviously I love both cars, but I'm not a gadget guy.
