Old interior + self serve wreckers = an opportunity to change my interior. MY1998 9-5 which I've owened since late 2006 that had 100,575Kms on it when purchased now has 156,000Kms on it as to date (18-06-2014) has the grey fabric interior scheme which I'm getting sick and tired of. However I'm not sick & tired of the car as I don't drive it much. The fabric seats I still like however the center console and the x4 door panels with the boring old grey dash panel I always wanted to update. So now I can, last week I've manage to remove from an MY 2001 9-5 the x4 door panels that has a soft black leather panel insert and the centre console. However I just managed to mis-out on the x2 front seats BUGGER! (car no. 888)
With (car no 918) MY 1998-S has the wood-grain dash interior panel so I've taken that out as well I will be spending this weekend changing out to the new interior which will be a fantastic visual refreshment to an beloved car. ***AWESUME*** Those that are interested to see what parts I took can view the two ExSAABs at PicknPayless.com.au
