Hello,
I would check both the battery cables for a voltage drop. Also as others have stated the battery could be your issue as these cars are pretty rough on batteries and sensitive to failing ones. First I would check the nut were the battery cable connects to the starter for corrosion or being slightly loose. There was a bulletin for that. I have also seen a fair amount of corrosion were the ground cable attaches to the transmission bracket. Any of these items could cause lower voltage when cranking. If there is high resistance in either of the cables they will need replaced. If cleaning and tightening the connections helps you might be in luck. If your lucky the misfire will be related to low voltage and if your not you have an additional issue. I would start with getting the slow cranking taken care of then proceed from there. Good Luck, Bernie at George Riggin Specialty Automotive
