I recently sourced front aero struts and springs off a 2004 Aero in a boneyard to upgrade my 2004 Linear... plus I put on new tires all the way around, but now I have:
1) Very smooth, level, and straight ride on flat pavement
2) Very little bounce or wandering on rough roads unless I hit very rough pavement
3) Improved cornering, at least by 50%
4) !!!!... however, at speed the car feels rather disconnected from the pavement, and if I hit a low spot or a large crease at speed the car is jittery and jumps around a bit. Basically at speed it feels like im balancing on a high center point
I have not yet replaced the linear rear sway bar, but I do have one. I hope that helps. What I'm not smart enough to figure out is.. is it the springs or the struts? I did put on new struts mounts up front, and the car has 145k (was babied by a older woman for the first 132K). I'm willing to opt for Konis (either yellow or FSD) to get a sharper handling car. This is an occassional driver that might get some weekend track time this fall.
Hope I gave enough info to get some direction....
