Time for a new DIC/IDM, dho. 100K miles is about what is expected from these units. the P1312 fault is a warning that its going to fail at some point if you continue to use it.
Get OEM, worth the extra cost$.
If they were not done at 90K miles or recently; Change the spark plugs too. Use the correct plugs (NGK / OEM type specific)
Keep the failing DIC/IDM with the car as an emergency-use unit.
It still starts the car, so in a pinch you can have it on-board as a quick-test unit for a cranks-no-start condition in an emergency.
by the way, did you ever get the ambient-air temp-sensor wiring issue figured out? I'm curious as to what ever came of that.
