Well as it says I'm new to the 9-5's. I have recently acquired a 2000 aero wagon with 198k on it with an oil leak for $800, but it runs great. Now I'm use to the 9000 aero. Never wanted or had any Saab beyond 1997 but cash for clunkers (and times) has made it so hard to find a 9000, so I was forced into a 9-5. My questions are what happen to the differences between the aero and the regular Saabs? I don't see the rims, I don't see the body kit and most importantly I don't see the seats, those beautiful wrap around seats. Is there something I'm missing? I checked my vin# and it tells me I'm driving an aero. The speed tells me the same but visually I feel like I'm in a normal baseline wagon. Is the 2000 a year they just said "hey we are just gonna put this out and that's it" or was I robbed for my visual amenities?

I don't want to keep going cause I might just start rambling. But I do want to know if I was cut short by the previous owner or did Saab just disappoint me by cutting corners?

One more, has anyone thought about trying to get the older 9000 aero seats in the 9-5? I'm thinking about trying it. Or did they start doing something good with the newer aero interiors? Thanks everybody.
