I have "saved" two cards 99 01, that "needed" a head gasket "job". Have replaced the head bolts with new ones and have reset the torque (even a little bit over) with very good luck. So far these new bolts have held fine. How long ago were the head bolts done? The ones I did are about 4-5 years so far...
I guess I would say it only costs about $50 to redo the bolts.....
