When you refer to "Advance information states a non-fit to Saab" be careful.
Nearly all of the recent posts about the great DIC pricing through Advance have been related to the 4 cylinder versions. If you were searching Advance trying to fit those part numbers, but to your car (V6, like mine), its of course going to show as not fitting!
I did a little looking for the V6 versions (remember you need 2 - one for each bank of three cylinders), and found some deals, but nothing as attractive as the 4 cyl discussed here over the last month or so.
Thankfully, it appears that the 6 cyl versions seem to be less failure-prone than the 4 cyl - Anders' reply to one of my posts is consistent with my experience on my car (see link).
For what its worth, my original DICs were replaced many years ago under the recall, and I am now at 225K (maybe 130 - 150K of these on the second set of DICs). If yours were never replaced under the recall, it may be worth a question at a dealer that still services Saabs.
Good luck
