I have an '08 9-5 which is just about identical to yours. My manual said change plugs at 40k. Big mistake. I finally changed them at 35k after all kinds of codes off a check engine light that was almost always on, cylinders missing, engine running very ruff at times, check engine lite flashing (much worse than just being on) all of which went away after 4 new plugs were installed and the car runs like new. There are other folks on this site that can tell you how to get it done cheaply and I don't know how urgent the other stuff is, but be sure to change the plugs. HS
