about 160k, 4 cyl, wife was driving down road, engine made some bucking sounds like suspension was loose. Got it home, barely idles, really rough, but has high ignition advance at idle, approx 30 degrees, heavy fuel smell, not fuel leaks though. DI cassette is only a few months old, also recent TPS . OBD II reader has only one code, 0106, swapped MAP sensor with other Saab, no change. From what i can see on forums, ECU sets advance. checked for vacuum leaks do not seem to be able to find any, turbine bypass does not seem to have broken diaphragm.
Could a hard to find vacuum leak hiding create such timing advance??
any ideas?
