Replaced CPS on wednesday with a Bosch unit. Problem persists. Let me be more specific about the symptoms.

Hot starts are fine, but hot running performance is poor. Hesitant acceleration, down on power and throttle response, down on MPG, but never stalls. Minor hiccupping under heavy throttle.

Cold running is great! But cold starts take 4-8 seconds, and are generally in 3 stages:

1. Car cranks with no indication of starting
2. Car hiccupps around 900 rpm, and struggles to fire on all cylinders. Lots of vibration. Sometimes I will stop the starting cycle at this point and try again (at which point the car starts right up).
3. Engine finally spools up to 1500 rpm, vibration immediately ceases, and the car drives like a champ... till it warms up.

I dare say that the amount of brake pressure I apply during startup affects how the car starts.. but I might just be imagining things.

I should note that I have an open SID after a self-tune via T7suite via a certain ecu project website as of a few years ago.
I notice that "Ioff" starts at ~+60-75 at cold start, when the car runs great. As the eng temp hits op temp, Ioff stabilizes to +0-5 on the cold drive to work, but goes negative on the way home when it's +20 degrees F ambient. I also notice spikes in Ioff down to ~-150-70 under moderate throttle... to me that would indicate a knock sensor doing its job?

I've replaced plugs, DIC, CPS, all vacuum hoses, and I fill up with 89-93 octane every week. No smoke on start-up or during use. No leaks around major gaskets, turbo was replaced 20k ago. I'm running out of ideas here.

All help greatly appreciated!!
