It's a DIY. But use a good quality sensor - I replaced the sensor in 2005 Arc twice because the first one was bad out of the box. Sadly, I think that the bad one may have been part of a bad lot of older sensors from the same manufacturer (FAE). I paid about 2X more for the good sensor because I bought it locally - the old one had been sitting for a couple of years as back up for our '99 2.3lpt. The 2005 Sensor was changed preventively, but the bad sensor said low oil pressure - so I dropped the pan, but pan was VERY clean. New sensor installed and no more light.
I would recommend to do it all from below w the car on ramps or jack stands. I tried the reach in from above, but access is awkward and sight lines poor. The removal of the starter is really pretty simple with the battery out. Remove the drain hose from the PCV6 oil trap for more room (watch for oil drips). There are other posts on this, so search the board. Original sensor may have smaller size hex than new ones (new ones fit standard oxygen sensor wrenches).
