'01 9-5 LPT wagon. I got a new fan speed controller from eeuro. The wires seem awfully short. On the passenger side, the wires for the existing fan controller look to be about 2 feet long, measuring from the plug that goes into the fan motor to the connectors, maybe more. Only 8 inches on the new one. The driver's side, that has the sensor on it, seems kind of short, too.
Also, the existing fan controller wiring behind the glove box is all wrapped together with other wires in a plastic sheath - looks impossible to tease apart without removing the whole dash.
This is looking pretty bad. I'm thinking of splicing. I did a search, and one person said it would have to be spliced down in the driver's footwell. Anyone try it?
