Check the banjo bolts on the cooling pipes , the crush washers often seep after a while . The other leak prone issue with the v6 is the little elbow hose that comes off the thermostat outlet pipe , near the dipstick , a leak here will flow down and the residue will be on the bottom of the turbo .Part #9179409 . Really bad design , the whole turbo cooling line setup can be a pain !
The other common place for "mystery" coolant leaks on the v6 is the Coolant Bridge , between the heads , where the ECT is . The banjo bolts here also leak , and the only correct way is with the OEM SAAB seal/washers part#4620324 . Just did all of this on my car , no more leaks !
The expansion tank cap should be replaced as well , it is the only way to regulate the system pressure , and an old/faulty cap can make the system overpressure ....hence the leaks ! Good Luck !!
