It's Been over a week now and not a single glitch.
"The wife" has been driving it ('05 Aero Wagon) every day, multiple time a day and reports all-systems-normal.
No Malfunction Indicator Lights.
Fuel gauge operations normal.
Nothing out of the ordinary.
The intermittent ABS/ESP malfunctions appear to have "resolved themselves"
Though,
I forgot to mention in my last post,
One of the last things I did to this vehicle before buttoning it back up.
Was to reprogram the MIU (Main Instrument Unit/ AKA Instrument gauge-cluster) with Tech-2 spare-part programming.
Thinking back on a few things too....
And
I should also mention that the intermittent malfunctions seem to have coincided with some SAAB-TIS SPS (Service Programming System) updates I did in late November.
Specifically, Updated software programming to ECM, TCM, And ACC control units.
Now...
I'm wondering if the SPS may have dumped some of the peripheral module's programming in the process ....? Thus introducing a contradiction between CAN-bus units.
Other than shifting-around various sections of the wiring harness and disconnecting/reconnecting every control unit in dash-fascia, That's really the only thing I can think of that could have had a real effect on this strange problem.
