There are a couple of Lisle tools that may work for you. Lisle #54140 Puller and #65750 Lever. I bought the 54140 Puller and it made removing my wiper arm a breeze with no damage to anything. Also squirt some CRC Freeze off or PB blaster on the joint prior to doing this. There could be a bit of corrosion in there depending on where you live. Google search these tools, Amazon has good price on them. Some local NAPA shops also sell these. Take a look at them. You can also use the puller for removing battery terminals with no prying needed, great addition to toolbox.
